Morgan Bevell

Morgan Bevell is an IEP Advocate and Paralegal at IEP Defenders, where she focuses on empowering families to understand and exercise their rights within the special education system. Her path to this work is personal: growing up with a sister with learning disabilities gave her an early and intimate understanding of how hard families have to fight to get students the support they deserve. That experience deepened when she became a fierce advocate for Grace, a neighbor and close friend she supported through the IEP process firsthand.

Morgan brings over a decade of experience working alongside students and families with disabilities, and she is the founder and CEO of Bevell's Advocate, a nonprofit she built from the ground up that has served more than 200 families nationwide with a five-star client satisfaction record. Her work spans IEP development and analysis, educational audits, placement dispute resolution, and mediation support, helping clients navigate the gap between what schools offer and what students are legally entitled to receive under IDEA and Section 504. Her approach is grounded in empathy, tenacity, and an unwavering belief that every child, regardless of ability, deserves an education built around their needs.
