Lolita Brown Fletcher is a passionate attorney with over 35 years of employment law experience and over 7 years of experience serving as an outstanding advocate for Special Needs Children. Lolita has for years added quality and much needed value to the Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) of hundreds of children in the greater Los Angeles and Inland Empire areas of Southern California, ensuring that School Districts provide proper educational and related services to a very vulnerable population.
Her professional experience includes private employment law firm practice, including her own firm, in the defense industry, food service industry, and insurance defense industry amongst others. She served as a Personnel Director for a small city in the Los Angeles area for 11 years, managing hiring, disciplinary procedures, benefits, employee relations, labor relations and risk management. She has served as a Human Resources Consultant and Workplace Investigator for private and public sector employers. Upon retirement from municipal employment, Lolita taught Employment Law and Special Education Law courses at a law school, where she also served as the Director of their IEP Legal Clinic for 5 years. Just prior to joining Lex Tecnica/IEP Defenders, Lolita was in private practice in the area of Special Education.
