An Arizona native, she brings over 13 years of legal experience and a deeply personal commitment to ensuring every child has access to a meaningful education. Prior to focusing on education and family advocacy, she served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona, where she concentrated on juvenile law. Before that, she sharpened her litigation skills at the Maricopa County Public Defender's Office, handling jury trials, evidentiary hearings, plea negotiations, and oral arguments. Kristen also draws on personal experience as a parent of multiple children with special needs, giving her unique insight into the obstacles families face and a genuine passion for helping them overcome those obstacles.
