Jeremy Henderson, Ed.D.

Jeremy Henderson, Ed.D. is an educational consultant and advocate at Lex Tecnica, where his work centers on special education law, IEP advocacy, and the procedural rights of students with disabilities and their families. There is a particular kind of harm that arrives quietly, dressed in bureaucratic language and institutional indifference, and Dr. Henderson has spent more than a decade learning precisely how to answer it.
His practice spans eligibility disputes, IEP development and implementation, manifestation determinations, and the full procedural architecture of IDEA and California Education Code. He works alongside families navigating districts that range from cooperative to intractable, bringing to each case the same quality: an unshakable belief that the child at the center of the table deserves someone who has actually done the reading. Precision, preparation, and a profound investment in the human beings behind every file define the way he works.
Prior to joining Lex Tecnica, Dr. Henderson spent over a decade teaching across virtually every grade level and content area, holding credentials in special education, physical education, health, business, and CTE across nine states. He served as an adjunct instructor in a graduate special education program and continues postgraduate training in school psychology at Alliant International University.
