Erik Janke

Erik Janke is a dedicated and passionate full-time law student at the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, Nevada, set to graduate in the spring of 2026. He is deeply interested in areas of law that have the potential to increase freedoms and privileges for others, and strives to do intellectually stimulating work that is beneficial for the greater good of the people around him.
In his first year of law school, Erik won second place at the school's in-house mock trial competition and accepted a position on the Moot Court team (offered for his excellent writing ability). While metamorphosing from a first-year to a second-year student, Erik worked for the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office, where he aided in prosecuting unthinkable crimes. In his second year, he served as a teaching assistant for a Constitutional Law II class, where he helped fellow students dissect the seemingly nebulous ways of the United States Supreme Court. Currently, Erik competes in nationwide moot court competitions, and acts as the Vice President of the Society of Advocates and Vice President of the Federalist Society at his school.
